Introduction
The POC-465AWP is a new segment of Neousys’ fanless computers based on the Intel® Atom® x6425E, designed with IP65-rated protection. AWP stands for Affordable, Waterproof, and Protected, and the POC-465AWP is engineered to address common environmental challenges. Featuring a sealed system with stainless steel and aluminum chassis, its IP65 waterproof protection prevents internal PCBA corrosion in high-salinity or high-humidity environments.

The sealed enclosure also allows the system to operate unaffected in dusty or highly polluted environments such as farms or mining sites. With a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to 70°C and an efficient thermal design, the system minimizes thermal throttling, ensuring consistent performance.

In terms of connectivity, the POC-465AWP is equipped with M12 connectors, ensuring reliable connections in harsh conditions, including exposure to shock and vibration. It features two 2.5G Ethernet ports, one RS-232, and one RS-422/485 port. Isolation protection is implemented to safeguard the mainboard against damaging voltage spikes. Additionally, the system includes VGA output and two USB 2.0 ports. The POC-465AWP supports wireless LTE/5G communication via an M.2 B Key slot, and also provides an M.2 M Key SATA interface for SSD storage.

By combining IP65 protection, M12 connector design, and advanced thermal performance, the POC-465AWP is a durable and reliable solution for deploying a wide range of applications under harsh conditions. Its ultra-compact form factor allows easy integration into space-constrained environments, while its waterproof design makes it ideal for outdoor use cases such as wildfire detection and unmanned vehicles, as well as demanding environments like food/beverage manufacturing and pharmaceutical processing.
