Product Overview

The Nuvo-7100VTC from Neousys is a high-performance in-vehicle controller designed for embedded computing applications in transportation systems. Based on Intel® 9th and 8th Gen Core™ processors, it supports up to 8-core CPUs and 64GB of DDR4 memory. Offering significantly improved performance over previous generations, it delivers the expandability and reliability required for various automotive applications. Its fanless architecture ensures excellent reliability even in long-hour operating environments.

High-Performance Architecture

The Nuvo-7100VTC supports Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors with LGA1151 socket and Intel® Q370 chipset. It is ideal for applications requiring high-speed computing and multitasking, such as autonomous driving, vehicle monitoring, and real-time video analytics. It supports up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and includes TPM 2.0 and Intel® AMT 12.0 for enhanced security and remote management capabilities.

Expandability and I/O Configuration

It provides essential I/O ports for vehicle systems and supports configurations of either 4 or 8 802.3at PoE+ ports with M12 or RJ45 connectors, depending on the model. Each PoE+ port can deliver up to 25.5W, making it suitable for powering high-consumption devices such as IP cameras.

Additionally, the system includes USB 3.1 Gen1 and Gen2 ports, four serial ports (supporting RS-232/422/485), three video outputs (VGA, DVI-D, DisplayPort), and microphone/speaker jacks for flexible peripheral connectivity.

Wireless Communication and Storage

To meet modern vehicle communication requirements, Nuvo-7100VTC is equipped with two M.2 B-Key slots and three mini-PCIe slots, allowing the simultaneous installation of Wi-Fi, 4G, GPS, and CAN modules. One slot supports dual-SIM mode for network redundancy.

For storage, it includes a hot-swappable SATA HDD/SSD tray, an internal SATA slot, and supports RAID 0/1. A high-speed NVMe SSD slot (M.2 2280, PCIe x4) is also available for fast data throughput.

Vehicle-Oriented Design

The system supports a wide DC input range of 8V–35V and features IGN (ignition) control, allowing power management linked to vehicle start-up. It also includes isolated CAN 2.0 ports and 4-channel isolated digital I/O (DIO) for seamless integration with vehicle sensors and actuators.

Rugged Design & Certifications

The Nuvo-7100VTC supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and complies with EN 50155 shock/vibration standards (IEC61373:2010), E-Mark certification, and EN 50155 EMC standards. Its fanless design and use of industrial-grade rugged connectors (M12, screw-lock USB) make it exceptionally durable and reliable in outdoor and long-distance mobile environments.
