EBC 357 Series Overview

The EBC 357 Series is a 3.5-inch Single Board Computer (SBC) based on the Intel Atom® E39xx and J3455E processors. Designed with low power consumption and a wide operating temperature range (-20°C to 60°C, depending on CPU model), it features a fanless architecture that ensures reliable performance even in harsh industrial environments. Optimized for various embedded applications, it is ideal for battery-powered devices, multimedia HMI panels, outdoor systems, home automation, and thin clients.


Processor and Memory Configuration

The EBC 357 supports Intel Atom® E39xx series and J3455E processors, both manufactured on a 14nm process.

  • E39xx Series: Available in dual-core or quad-core configurations, operating at 1.8GHz or 2.0GHz, with 1MB L2 cache per core (shared per two cores) and a TDP of 6.5W or 12W for optimized low-power performance.

  • J3455E Processor: Quad-core, operating at a base frequency of 1.5GHz (up to 2.3GHz boost), with 1MB L2 cache per core (shared per two cores) and a TDP of 10W.

The system supports up to 8GB of DDR3L SDRAM via two 204-pin SO-DIMM slots, with clock speeds of 1333/1600/1867MHz for flexibility in meeting a variety of application requirements.

Display Output Configuration

The EBC 357 offers triple display support via HDMI, VGA, and LVDS (or eDP) interfaces.

  • HDMI: Supports up to 3840×2160 @ 30Hz (4K resolution)

  • VGA: Supports up to 1920×1200 @ 60Hz

  • LVDS: Dual-channel (18/24-bit) up to 1920×1080
