The NRU-160-AWP series is a rugged IP66-rated edge AI computer based on NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX or Orin™ Nano, designed for outdoor and harsh industrial environments that require high-performance AI inference and video processing.

The NRU-160-AWP series delivers robust AI computing and reliability across a wide range of applications, including smart city roadside units (RSUs), AI inspection in food factories, ADAS for autonomous vehicles, and industrial AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots). With its compact size (225 x 136 x 55 mm), wide-range DC input (8V~35V), and ignition power control, it is optimized for various in-vehicle and outdoor deployment environments.



Outstanding AI Performance and Vision Processing Capabilities

The NRU-160-AWP offers up to 100 TOPS (INT8) of AI performance with NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, and supports simultaneous transcoding of up to 18 channels of 1080p video streams. In terms of vision processing, it officially supports:

  • Up to 6 GMSL2 automotive cameras using IMX390, ISX031, IMX490 CMOS sensors (Model: NRU-161V-AWP)

  • Up to 4 PoE+ GbE ports for IP/GigE camera connections (Model: NRU-162S-AWP)

The 2D cameras deliver clear imagery under dynamic lighting conditions such as backlight or nighttime, while the 3D cameras provide precise distance measurement and obstacle avoidance, making them a cost-effective and efficient alternative to LiDAR.






Rugged and Durable Design

The NRU-160-AWP series features IP66-rated water and dust resistance and supports a wide operating temperature range from -25°C to 70°C, offering strong durability against vibration and shock. It adopts waterproof M12 connectors and a modular cable kit for easy installation and maintenance. Its compact design, suitable for vehicle and cabinet integration, makes it ideal for outdoor and harsh environment use.



Rich Expansion and Communication Interfaces

In terms of communication, it provides 1 CAN FD port and 1 RS-232 port for integration with vehicle communication systems. Expansion is possible through 1 Mini PCIe slot for CAN, COM, or WiFi modules, and 1 M.2 B-Key slot for 4G LTE or 5G NR mobile communication modules, ensuring a seamless data communication environment. The GbE port supports data exchange with external LiDAR and computers.
