Industrial environments are increasingly demanding stable computing performance even under extreme conditions. NexCOBOT’s EBC 357X is a 3.5” embedded board that supports extended operating temperatures from -40°C to 85°C, offering both low power consumption and high reliability as a next-generation solution.


Processor and Memory Configuration

The EBC 357X is a 3.5” embedded board powered by the Intel Atom® E39xx processor family built on 14nm process technology. It supports dual-core or quad-core configurations, operating at 1.8GHz or 2.0GHz, with 1MB L2 cache shared per two cores.

With a TDP of 6.5W/12W, it features an energy-efficient design.

The memory supports up to 8GB via dual 204-pin DDR3L SO-DIMM slots, with clock speeds of 1333/1600/1867MHz, ensuring flexibility for a wide range of industrial applications.





Display Output Configuration

The board supports up to three independent display outputs, offering HDMI, VGA, and LVDS interfaces.


- HDMI: up to 3840×2160 @ 30Hz (4K resolution)

VGA: up to 1920×1200 @ 60Hz

LVDS: single channel (18/24bit), up to 1366×768 (dual channel optional)


This triple display capability provides outstanding versatility for multimedia HMIs, industrial control panels, outdoor displays, and other applications.



Audio and Communication Interfaces

The EBC 357X integrates the Realtek ALC888s HD audio codec, supporting Mic-in, Line-out, and Speaker-out through pin headers.

Networking is handled by dual Intel® I210-IT Gigabit LAN controllers, offering PXE boot and Wake-on-LAN functions, ensuring reliable connectivity and remote management in industrial environments where high-speed communication is essential.



Expansion and I/O Configuration

For storage, the EBC 357X provides an M.2 (2242) B Key slot and a SATA port for SSD or HDD connections. The M.2 slot supports both PCIe and SATA interfaces.

I/O configuration includes:

  • 2 × USB 3.0

  • 4 × USB 2.0

  • 1 × RS232

  • 1 × RS232/422/485

  • 4-in/4-out GPIO

  • SMBus

  • Power/reset switches

  • Fan connector

This comprehensive I/O design ensures compatibility with a wide range of sensors and control devices.


Power and Power Management

The system operates on a single +12V DC input via a 4-pin connector, with jumper settings for AT/ATX mode.

Its fanless design and CPU upside-down architecture effectively manage heat dissipation, ensuring stable long-term operation.



Environmental Tolerance and Dimensions

- Operating temperature: -40°C to 85°C (extended temperature support)

- Storage temperature: -20°C to 85°C

- Humidity: 동작 시 10–90% (operating, non-condensing)

The board measures 146mm × 102mm (3.5” form factor) and is CE and FCC Class A certified, guaranteeing stability even in harsh environments.
